Felix Haibach
has been Manager of Earth3000 since 2001 in various capacities.
Among others, he is in charge of the Berlin Brown Bag
series - a platform for political, academic, and practitioners'
exchange and interaction in the fields of development,
environment, governance, and ethics. He also leads Earth3000's
work in World Heritage and private sector partnerships.

Felix Haibach has worked in international cooperation since
1997; until 2000 with the World Bank Vice Presidencies for
External Affairs and Environmentally and Socially Sustainable
Development at the Washington headquarters, then on secondment
to IUCN - The World Conservation Union in Geneva, and most
recently with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. He has been
responsible for Earth3000's work supporting the UNESCO initiative
Partners in Conservation at the World Heritage Congress in
Venice in 2002, and for the implementation of specific pilot
projects since then.
Prior to joining the UN system, from 1995 to 1997, Felix Haibach
worked as Political Analyst and Advisor in the German Federal
Chancellor's Office. He also worked as a consultant to the
Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit GmbH and to the
Bavarian State Chancellery in the field of international development
cooperation.
Felix Haibach studied international politics and economics
in Munich, Washington DC, and Prague. He holds a Master of
Science degree from Georgetown University and a Master of
Arts degree from the Central European University.
