Earth3000 - the cause
Life support systems and biological species are endangered at a rate unprecedented in the history of our planet. Future livelihoods and long term survival of humankind will depend on the ability of present generations to reverse trends of environmental degradation. To achieve this, systemic improvements are required.

Earth3000 adheres to the values set forth in the year 2000 Earth Charter calling for "respect and care for the community of life, ecological integrity, social and economic justice and democracy, nonviolence and peace."

Earth3000 supports the Global Marshall Plan and other efforts to eliminate abject poverty and the inhuman and environmentally unsustainable conditions that come
with it.
Earth3000 - the mandate
Earth3000 focuses on improvements in governance for environment and development.

Earth3000 supports programs for transparency and for consistent tracking of the implementation of public and private environmental and development commitments.

Earth3000 is a quiet, results-oriented organization. We measure achievements in terms of outcomes on the ground and of advancement through institutional innovations, environment-friendly development, programs and products.

Earth3000 was founded in 2001 as a globally oriented non-profit organization under German Law.
